Ashraf Tallar is one of the most famous monuments of Safavid era. This glorious building in Shah Abbass II period, was used as a place for waiting on the Safavid court, and it was also used as the kingdom seraglio (harem).
The so called name of this monument is because Ashraf Afghan had chosen this place to live in. Ashraf Tallar is a complex of rooms and halls which are ornamented by gold gilding, raised plaster molding with azure colour and gilding vaulted (arched).
The building is renovated in the recent period.
